Cette lampe éclaire bien la table sur laquelle elle est suspendue, le seul défaut est que l'ampoule à travers cette lampe en verre éblouit énormément et si on met une ampoule de plus basse intensité, elle n'éclaire plus assez la table. L'idéal aurait été d'opacifier le verre pour diffuser une lumière moins agressive. Hormis ce détail, j'en ai mis deux au-dessus de la table et une au-dessus de l'évier, ce qui fait un très bel ensemble.

These are nice lights. The lights are simple in design and the components are good quality. The cord is quite long and even though we have high Victorian ceilings, I needed to reduce the length by about twenty cm. You do this by loosening the plastic screw near the base of the ceiling component and n coil wire into the base of the fitting. I just about had enough room once I had coiled the cord and wired up the light in the base to be able to screw against the ceiling mount.

I would reccomend using a fairly low wattage bulb. I used an eco 4w bulb, which is the equivalent of 25w brightness in old money. Anything more powerful and it becomes glaring and ruins the ribbing effect on the glass shade.

The only issue is that because the cord is coiled up when packed, it has creases in the cord when hung and look unlikely to straighten completely despite the weight of the lamp.

All in all, I am pleased with the pair, simple, yet elegant and with the 50% discount on the price, I thought they were good value.
